Wow, this is exciting!
I guess I'll start off my first movie blog with a most recent movie that i saw, Mall Cop.
Mall Cop stars, Kevin James as a fat, lonely, annoying, mall cop. Yes, that is a little harsh but it's honest, he is fat, and he is lonely, and he is a mall cop. Kevin James isn't one of my favorite comedians, he is funny, but his jokes are mild, in the sense that, they don't make me laugh till I cry. The movie was cute, it had its funny moments, and then it had its awkward parts, but I did enjoy seeing Paul Blart save the day.
Have you ever noticed that the dorky, good guy doesn't save the day anymore?
Its always someone brawny, or tenacious. Like a guy who can do twelve back flips in a row, and save the damsel in distress, and also win in a triumph battle against the evil. If you enjoy watching movies like that, then do not go see Mall cop. Mall cop is a film for children, something that would be IMPOSSIBLE in real life, but it is possible because it's a movie, and they can do that.
Overall I would give Mall cop a solid -C, because of the good effort by Adam Sandler to produce another Happy Gilmore hit. If you have seen the movie Mall Cop, what would you give it?

ReplyDeleteI've seen this movie and...I didn't think it was that good. I mean it did have it's funny parts, but i don't know..I didn't like it that much. I would agree with you score. I would give it a C too.
I have not seen the movie yet, but I already feel that they have showed all the funny parts on the previews. But I agree with you, it is always the guy who can do the back flips and win against evil. I think that this movie is a good change in that sense.
ReplyDeleteI have not yet to see the movie, but from the looks of the preview I would so give it a eight and a half. I like the way they show his imperfections and turn them into pure comedy, but yet still make him a hero in some sence. That's really hard to do. So this movie is at the top of me must see list!
