Underworld Rise Of The LycansNot what I expected but still a well done prequel!
...Surprisingly this movie is a Romance- to the top notch. Its a forbidden love kind of Romance, which seems to be happening a lot with vampires (twilight). Except they portrayed the forbidden love a little different this time. A Vampire falling in love with a Lycan. Oh, and in case you didnt know, a Lycan is that scary picture to your left; it's a werewolf with a new nifty name.
Anyways if you saw the first two then this should be easy....Personally Im a mild Underworld fan I saw the first two, but they weren't outstanding or anything just typical sci-fi fun.
In Underworld you have the big bad Vampires, and the naughty Lycans who are treated as dogs, with the exception of Lucian who is the first Lycan. Lucian is treated differently, because the Head Vampire Viktor thinks of him as a son. Viktor has a beautiful daughter named Sonja. Overtime Lucian develops an attraction for Sonja, and thats when the forbidden love starts and then later on ends with a huge vicous battle between the Lycan and the Vampire.
This movie is a prequel, in case you didn't know. Its the third installment to the Underworld gothic saga, and to me it didn't rise to any great expectations, I thought it was unnecessary to explain the Lycan, Vampire fued, because I already know that they have a weird hatred torwards each other even though there both freaks. So in my opinon don't waste your time on this movie unless your a die hard Underworld fan.
With good movies, would you rather see a prequel or a sequel?
I think that nothing is ever as good as the first one, so no body should bother with sequels or anything beyond that. everyone always gets dissapointed.

ReplyDeleteIf the first movie is good, then why make a sequel? I mean If it is really going to be that good of a movie then why make others wait for another movie.
With really good movies I would rather see a sequel...that's a second one right? Ha! Sometimes when movies continue they get old and you lose intrest! I have seen both Underworld movies and I like them, but a third one seems like it would be...boring!
ReplyDeleteI would rather see a sequael. Sequeals are usually pretty good and answer all the questions from the first movie. The prequel is just rediculous. I mean... come on what else should be explained in the third one. Also, because I am usually let down with the third movie because it's just being dragged on and has lost it meaning.
